Meet Caroline
For Caroline, great design isn’t just about how a home looks; it’s about how it feels. She believes everyone deserves that instant sense of calm the moment they walk through the door, that feeling of comfort and belonging that makes a house truly feel like home.
After studying with the highly regarded Interior Design Institute, Caroline co-founded Expressions with her husband and best friend, Owen. Their shared vision was to create spaces that not only look beautiful but feel right, homes that support the way people live, rest and connect.

With a background in wellbeing and a natural eye for design, Caroline brings together beauty and balance in every project. Her approach is thoughtful and human, focusing on how spaces support daily life, spark joy and reflect the people who live in them.
Today, she combines creative design with empathy and purpose. Whether reimagining a single room or transforming an entire home, Caroline’s goal is simple: to help people live better, feel happier and truly love where they live.

For Owen, creating and building have always been second nature. He finds joy in turning ideas into something tangible; crafting spaces that feel solid, timeless and full of character.

With a degree in Business Management and a background in senior leadership, Owen understands the importance of trust, quality and great communication. Over the past decade, he’s honed his skills through hands-on renovation work and collaborations with some of the best craftspeople in the field, earning a reputation for precision, creativity and making the seemingly impossible happen.
At Expressions, Owen brings together business insight, craftsmanship and a genuine care for people and their homes. Working alongside Caroline, he helps bring design ideas to life, creating spaces that not only look beautiful but work effortlessly; homes built with meaning, intention and heart.
